Occasionally, packages are marked as "Delivered" in the system even when they have been received at the post office but not been actually delivered by the local carrier. CANCELLATION POLICY: Orders can be canceled as long as the item has not yet shipped. If you placed an order and need to cancel it, please message me before the item ships.

RETURN, EXCHANGE AND REFUND POLICY: I accept returns on most items. Contact me within 7 days of order receipt through your Etsy account and the order (top right, middle icon through “Your Account>Purchases>Help with Order”) to request a Return Authorization (RA). Items must be unworn, in the original packaging, sent with tracking (and insurance for orders over $100) and postmarked within 7 days of RA issuance. Please see below for more details regarding returns, refunds and exchanges. CLEARANCE items are not returnable.

Frequently asked questions

When will my item be ready to ship?

Check the "ship by date" noted in your order. I do my best to ship orders on the next business day, but please allow up to 5 business days after the payment has cleared. If the shop gets super busy, processing times may be extended. If you need your order expedited, please purchase the Priority Shipping Upgrade and contact me via Etsy messages to ensure I can meet your timeline. Please be sure to use an accurate "ship to" address to avoid delays in shipping, and keep an eye on your email in case I need to contact you with any questions I might have in order to fulfill your order.

When will my item arrive?

Etsy provides estimated delivery dates at checkout, which are based on the mail service you select and location. THESE DELIVERY DATES ARE ESTIMATES AND ARE NOT GUARANTEES!!! Many packages are taking longer than expected. If you are in a rush for your package, please purchase the USPS PRIORITY upgrade.

You can follow the USPS tracking of your order through "my purchases". You can also sign up for email tracking notifications by clicking through to the USPS website. If your package has not arrived within 30 days, I can initiate a missing mail inquiry. If, after the missing mail inquiry has been completed, and the package has not been found, I may be able to send a replacement item.

What are your return policies?

To return your items, contact me within 7 days of order receipt through Purchases>Help with Order to request a Return Authorization (RA). Items must be unworn, in the original packaging, and mailed within 7 days of RA issuance. BUYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING. Refunds may take several days to process. Shipping costs are not refunded.

My package hasn't arrived - what do I do?

USPS First Class Mail typically takes 4-7 days, however, delayed packages are not considered lost by USPS until 30 days after mailing.

If you have concerns about the shipping status of your order, please check the USPS tracking status through "my purchases". You can sign up for email notification of tracking status through the USPS website.

If your package has not arrived after 30 days, please contact me and I can initiate a missing mail inquiry. If, after the missing mail inquiry has been completed, and the item is deemed "lost", I may be able to send a replacement item.

Can I get a replacement item when my packaged is delayed??

Some packages get stuck in the USPS system or can be delayed due to address issues. If you placed your order and need it right away but the tracking says "In Transit, Arriving Late", you may have better luck with a second package. You can order a second item through my shop, which I will send out right away. When the delayed item arrives, you can mark it as "Refused, Return to Sender" to return it to me. I will issue a full refund for the item when I receive it back.

My package is marked "Delivered" by the post office, but I don't have it! Can I get a refund?

Please ensure that you provide an accurate delivery address and secure location for packages.



Packages are sometimes scanned by USPS prior to being delivered by your carrier, so please allow a couple extra days before deeming your package as missing. After that time, contact your carrier or local post office to confirm the GPS delivery location. Check with neighbors to determine if the package was mis-delivered. In case of possible theft, file a stolen package report with the police and post office. If USPS marks the package as delivered, insurance claims cannot be made, and refunds or replacement packages are NOT given. You can file a case for Etsy to review to determine if it will be covered under their Buyer Protection Plan.

There is a problem with my order. Can you send me a new item?

If an item arrives damaged or broken, or different than you expected, please contact me right away under Purchases>Help with Order. Attach a photo of the item and packaging if necessary. Do not throw away your item or packaging materials! Items must be returned to me to determine if a replacement item can be sent or refund can be issued. If the problem is due to an error on my part, I will send a return mailing label so that you can drop it in the mail promptly. I will do my best to correct the problem by either repairing or replacing the item. If warranted, I will issue a refund. Other issues with the item, such as fit or size not as expected, can be returned if they meet the return criteria as detailed in the return policy.

Can I exchange my item?

I am now offering "No Hassle Exchanges". When a new item is purchased in exchange for an item you would like to return, (unworn items in the original packaging only), the return shipping is free! Please contact me within 7 days of your original order receipt. You can purchase the new item you would like to exchange for the item you are returning. I will ship the new item out promptly and will include a return mailing label in the package. You can use the label to mail the return item back to me, and when I receive it, I will issue a full refund.

If you would like to return an item for a refund, please contact me within 7 days of receipt to request a Return Authorization number.

Does my item come gift wrapped?

Your jewelry will come packaged in a colorful organza bag. All items will be placed in the same organza bag. If you need a separate bag for each item, please leave a comment at check out.

If you would like to receive your jewelry gift boxed, please select the gift wrapping option at check out (for a nominal fee). All items will be placed in the same box. If you need separate gift boxes, please contact me so that I can set up a separate listing for you to pay for individual gift boxing of each item in the order.

If you click the box "this item is a gift", no prices will be shown on the packing slip, but it will not be gift boxed unless the gift wrapping fee is paid.

What is "14k gold-filled"?

All my 14k gold filled materials are US sourced and meet the US FTC standards for gold filled requiring 1/20th of 14k (or 5%) of the total weight of the jewelry. A solid layer of 14k gold is mechanically bonded to jeweler’s brass. Gold filled items from Wendy Shray Designs are NOT Brazilian gold filled, which consists of 1/30th (or 3%) of 18k gold over a base metal. Brazilian gold filled has 40% less gold than US gold filled, which is why you will sometimes see lower prices for jewelry noted as 18k gold filled. In addition, some overseas suppliers claim their products are gold filled but they are actually a heavy gold plate, so the layer of gold is not mechanically bonded to the base metal and is more likely to wear off.
